BR:09 DAVID AND A GIANT

Long ago there was a boy named David. He looked after his father's sheep.

Once, a lion came to steal a sheep.
He killed the lion by himself.

War came to David's land.
David's brothers went off to fight.

David was too young. He had to stay at home.

One day, his father said, "You must take some food to your brothers."

So David walked all the way to the top of a hill.

He saw his brothers, also the king and lots of other men.

However, they was looking at the other army.

Then across the valley came a giant.
The giant was big and strong and mean.

No one will fight the giant.

David said he will fight the giant.

The giant laughed at David.

David picked up a stone. He put it in his sling.
The stone hit the giant between the eyes.
Soon the giant fell down and dead!!

The giant's army ran away. The war was over.

David was a hero!!

David grew up to be a great king.
He looked after all his people.
