Learning Language History

When I was born, I heard Japanese language at first. Of cause I was born in Japan. My parents are Japanese, so they talked to me Japanese language. I say “Mannma” as the first words. “Mannma” may mean mother or meal. I do not know which one is right. I remember my younger brother spoke for the first time. He also said “Mannma”. Most babies also said that I think. Afterwards, they can speak other words. For example, it is mama or papa.

When I entered the preschool, I could write letters. Reading books was good study foe me.
I like reading books because I felt like increase my knowledge. I read many books. It was not change after entered primary school. However, I learned only Japanese. I met English at the junior high school. There had English class. The class was easy for me. I could get full marks.
However, the level gradually became to be difficult. I have never been good English student.

A thing was a prompt to change my image for English.
That event was meeting with oversea students. When I was15 years old, an oversea student came my class from America. At first, we could not communicate with him. He was not good Japanese speaker, and we did not know how to we communicate with him. I tried to get along with him, so I studied English hard. I always brought my dictionary. After he backs his country, we exchanged many e-mails. Sending mail was good studying English. Though this mails exchanges, I could know that language is important to communicate with people. When I want to talk with foreign people, I have to speak foreign language. I have been liked study English since that.

I think, if I can talk many people, which are wonderful. Therefore, I decided to take the examination for KGU. KGU gives me a lot of chances to study languages.
In university, I do not only study speaking or grammar.
We can learn history oh English, phonetics, difference between American English and British English. My interest is not only English. The more and more studied Japanese, I could get new knowledge. Moreover, I studied Chinese and German. If I can speak many languages, people who I can get communication will increase.　

What do I want to be? I picture roughly my dream. I need skill of English to grant my dream.
Moreover, many people who are from foreign give me stimulus.
The stimulus is different from Japanese friends gives me. I will get denser my view of life.
I think that if every people speak only one language, we do not have to study some languages. However, many culture may lost. Language is culture of the country and characteristics.
I like study and speak foreign language, so I will keep to study from now on.
